蘭芝川公園は、かつて埋立地だった蘭芝島から流れ出る汚染された川を生態学的に復元して作られた水辺の公園です。平和公園とスカイパークの間に位置し、清流に沿った長い遊歩道が特徴です。ヨシやススキ、ヤナギなどが集まる川沿いを歩くと、サギやマガモなどの鳥たちに気軽に出会うことができる、自然に優しい空間です。園内にはこどもの森体験センターや広い芝生広場があり、子供たちが思い切り走り回って遊ぶことができます。近隣の保育園や幼稚園のピクニックスポットとしても人気です。人工芝サッカー場や多目的広場、インラインスケートリンクなどのスポーツ施設が充実しており、軽い運動を楽しむのに最適です。四季折々に咲く野の花を眺めながら、ゆったりとした時間を過ごせる隠れた癒しスポットです。

ワールドカップ公園内にある蘭池川公園は、週末でも混雑が少なく、家族連れのお出かけに最適な場所です。特に南芝芝生広場は子供たちが走り回って遊べる広さがあり、キャッチボールやサッカーをするのに最適です。ワンタッチでテントが張れるので、設営してお出かけするのに最適なスペースです。コンビニGS、トイレあり。砂遊び場やさまざまな遊び施設を備えたこどもの森体験センターもあり、3～4歳のお子様が遊ぶことができます。砂遊び場は思ったほど子供が多くないので、皇帝砂でも遊ぶことができます。
