서울둘레길 19코스(북한산 성북)는 약 6km로 길이가 길지 않아 부담 없이 걸을 수 있는 코스로 중간에 북한산 탐방안내 거점과 생태체험관이 있어 휴식이나 가벼운 체험도 가능합니다. 그리고 흰구름길 구간에 있는 흰구름전망대는 전망대 자체가 잘 꾸며진 휴식 공간은 아니지만, 이곳에서 바라보는 서울 도심 풍경은 충분히 인상적입니다. 흰구름전망대는 코스 종점인 화계사와도 비교적 가까운 편이므로 날씨 좋은 날 한 번쯤 방문해 보시길 추천합니다.

화계사입구에서 형제봉 입구로 이어지는 서울둘레길19코스(역방향으로 걷는중) 제법 추워진 날씨지만 산을 오르며 걸으니 몸에 온기가 돌아 시냇길보다 춥지않았고, 오후시간대 따뜻한 빛과 함께 걸으며 단풍이 그 어느때보다 아름답게 물들어 있는 경치를 감상할 수 있었다. 난이도 어려움으로 되어있지만, 초등학교 고학년정도에서는 그렇게 힘들어하진 않았기에 충분히 걸을 수 있는 코스! 초반에 있는 구름전망대에서보는 서울 전경과, 불암산, 수락산, 도봉산 까지 시워하게 이어지는 파노라마 전경은 이번 코스제일의 볼거리~ 가을엔 이코스를 꼭 걸어봐야할 코스로 추천해주고 싶다.
