인천에서 전국을 연결하는 항구이자 양화나루를 수비하는 진영이 있던 곳으로 지금은 옛 진영의 흔적만 남아있고 카톨릭계의 절두산 순교성지와 성당이 개신교쪽으로는 기독교100주년 기념관과 외국인선교사묘원이 조성되어있다. 엄숙해야 하는 이곳에서 셔터를 누르는것 조차 조심스러운 마음의 무게감이 느껴진다.

合井駅に近く、切頭山聖域のすぐ隣にあります。見つけるのは簡単でしたが、電車の轟音が大きくて悲しくなりました。墓地は思ったより小さくてあまり見学できませんでしたが、歴史的に保存価値の高い場所だと思います。彼らが埋葬された当時、この場所はソウル郊外だったはず…時間が経つにつれ、建物に囲まれた様子が少し異様に思えてきました。クリスチャンなら一度は訪れてみることをお勧めします。

楊花津は古くから強風から都市を守る国防の要衝でした。公園の片側にある、柱石で区切られた古い軍事キャンプの跡地は、ここが単なる美しい渡し場ではなく、国の運命をかけて漢江水路を守る緊迫した要塞であったことを静かに証言しています。近くの「楊花津外国宣教師墓地」に入ると、朝鮮という名前さえ馴染みのなかった国に対して見知らぬ人々が捧げた熱い誠意に出会うことができる。近代朝鮮の激動の時代に、彼らは福音、医学、教育を携えてやって来て、この地の苦しみを分かち合いました。彼らはここに埋葬されています。今、彼らは沈黙していますが、彼らが残した遺産は今も生きており、あらゆる分野で力強く動いています。
