이런 잡채밥, 본 적 있는가? 첫 입에서 이미 게임 끝. 서울 어디에서도 마주친 적 없는, 탱글하게 살아있는 면발—쫄면처럼 굵직한데, 식감은 더 치밀하고 더 집요하다. 간장 베이스인 듯하면서도 끝에 슬쩍 치고 올라오는 매콤함. 이건 맛이 아니라, 유혹이다. 원래 우리 집 공식은 정해져 있었다. 와이프는 우육짬뽕, 나는 간짜장, 아이는 탕수육. 그런데 이 잡채밥 한 그릇이 그 모든 질서를 무너뜨렸다. 이제는 내가 메뉴를 고르는 게 아니라, 이 잡채밥이 나를 부른다.
