Soakru Pavilion with a beautiful view of the Han River. It's a great spot to take a break. Enjoy the forest path and historical sites together.

It's "Soakru" inside Gungsan Mountain. You can see Bukhansan Mountain in the distance. The weather is warm, so people come up to exercise. The restrooms are also clean.

This is Soakru, the third course of the Gangseo Duruduru Stamp Tour. It is a wonderful place with a view of the Han River and Bukhansan Mountain. It is said to be a national heritage.

This is the best place to view the Han River in Gungsan. There are many trees at the top, making it difficult to enjoy the scenery. You can see Nanji Park nearby, the Mapo-gu area, and even Bukhansan Mountain in the distance. It is a pavilion that has been around since the reign of King Yeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty, but it is said that it was not originally located in this location. 《Ahnhyeonseokbong》 and 《Mokmyeokjodon》 published in Gyeomjae Jeongseon's Gyeonggyo Myeongseungcheop were included in the explanation. This is because those paintings were painted in Soakru. In addition, 《Soakhuwol》 and 《Jonghae Cheongjo》 were painted here at Gungsan when he was appointed as the head of Yangcheon County. This is probably why the Gyeomjae Jeongseon Museum of Art is located under Gungsan Mountain! Nearby places to visit - Yangcheon Hyanggyo, Gungsan Tunnel, and Gyeomjae Jeongseon Museum - Seoul Botanical Garden, LG Arts Center, Space K - Guam Park Gwangju Rock and Heohe Rock - Haneul Park, Nanjido Hangang Park, World Cup Park - National Aviation Museum or Parasite Museum

Today I came to “Soakru” located in Gungsan, Gayang-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul! I came right after work, and I'm having a hard time right now because I'm sweating like rain. This is Soakru, the 3rd course of the stamp tour throughout Gangseo. I stamped it! It's so cool coming up here that you almost want to turn off the air conditioner. However, it's hot and there are big bees flying around, so be careful~ Good luck to those of you on the stamp tour throughout Gangseo!

It is a pavilion located in Gungsan Neighborhood Park. It is said that the pavilion built during the Joseon Dynasty was restored and built here in 1994. I went down to the Gyeomjae Jeongseon Art Museum, which is located down the park, because I heard that Jeong Seon painted a lot of paintings while looking at the Han River. It's good to compare the differences and similarities between then and now, and the scenery around the Han River that looks refreshing after everything is gone is really nice. If you walk down Gungsan Park, Hangang Park and Magok Pier are close, making it great for exercising or taking the Hangang Bus.

It's quiet and the scenery is nice. A new side road has also opened at the Seoul Botanical Garden, providing easy access. However, the lighting in the officetel complex across the river is greatly damaging the aesthetics. During the Joseon Dynasty, there was a sign indicating that people could climb Soakru to enjoy the view of the Han River, Daedeoksan Mountain on the other side, and Namsan Mountain in the distance. It was unfortunate that lights had to be placed so brightly on the other side. It was an opportunity for me to personally think again about what is truly beautiful and cool.

Soakru is located on the right side of Gungsan Mountain. This is a painting depicting the appearance of Namsan from the Yangcheon side when Gyeomjae became the governor of Yangcheon in the early fall of the 16th year of King Yeongjo's reign (1740). Across the river, the Samgaksan mountain range boasts its white mystery, and the spectacular view of Bukak and Inwang is visible at a glance, and the sight of Namsan towering above is refreshing. The outlines of the low hills beneath Namsan, such as Mallijae, Aeogae, Nonggosan, and Wausan, can be seen. Currently, you can't see Mallijae, Aeogae, etc. because they are covered by Nanjido, but on a clear day, you can see the foot of Namsan in the distance. .
