Magnolia, forsythia, and cornelian cherry are in full bloom. I also see people out and about. It looks like Olympic Park will be a flower garden this weekend. The Mongchon Moat is also filling with water, and you can even see fish.

Olympic Park is a comprehensive park in Songpa-gu, Seoul, built for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. It is an urban rest area equipped with a stadium, cultural facilities, and the Mongchontoseong Fortress, a Baekje ruin. It is located at 424 Olympic-ro (Bangi-dong), Songpa-gu, Seoul. It was completed in 1986 and is built on a land area of approximately 1.42 million m2. There are six stadiums for cycling, weightlifting, fencing, swimming, gymnastics, and tennis, as well as the Soma Museum of Art, Olympic Hall, KSPO DOME, and Woori Finance Art Hall, and the Mongchontoseong Fortress in the park is Historic Site No. 297, an earthen fortress from the early Baekje period. It is operated and managed by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and inherits the spirit and values of the 88 Seoul Olympics. Open all year round, walking and cycling 05:00~22:00 (Square) 24:00), 06:00~22:00 by car, admission is free, and it is convenient to use Olympic Park Station on Lines 5 and 9, Mongchontoseong Station on Line 8, and Hanseong Baekje Station on Line 9.
Olympic Park The park where it rains is secluded and quiet. It was a healing time taking a walk while listening to all kinds of beautiful birdsong. It's really nice to hear a variety of bird sounds. The yellow flowers of Cornus officinalis are in full bloom, and the magnolia flowers are about to burst into buds soon. Today, the moving fountain is in operation and the sound of water is refreshing. Olympic Park is something new every time I come. I plan to come again to see the spring flowers, such as magnolias and cherry blossoms, when they are in full bloom.
Magnolia buds are forming on the road to spring at Olympic Park, and it seems like each tree is getting ready to bloom. I wait in anticipation for spring buds to appear on the ground and spring flowers to bloom in the vast park. It was a time of healing as I could hear the beautiful birdsong throughout the walk. Today, we had a useful time as docent Eunyoung Yoo kindly guided us through the free viewing of the SOMA Art Foundation members' exhibition at Soma Museum of Art, Soma Museum, Building 1, <Reframing the Ordinary>. The exhibition period is until March 8th.
❄️Songpa-gu's most generous trekking course🌇 Olympic Park is Seoul's representative city park ✅️🎎Culture Park ♡It is a combination of Songpa-gu cultural relics and the park, so if you look around, you will find plenty of Baekje relics, art and sculpture exhibits. I think it is a very unique form of combining art, culture and sports ☆Inner Ring Road (good for trekking when connected to Songpa Dullegil) ✅️🧱Mongchontoseong Fortress (part of Wiryeseong Fortress, the capital of Baekje) ✅️🎭Soma Art Museum (paid, 1 building and 2 halls can be viewed separately, modern art exhibition allows for a fascinating cultural experience) ✅️🎏Hanseong Baekje History Museum (free, exhibits relics from the Baekje era and sometimes special exhibitions, giving new fun each time you visit) ✅️🍴Good restaurants and cafes (in the park, a bit expensive) ❌️Pyeonghwamun under construction 📍Octagonal Pavilion➡️Mongchon Moat➡️Peace Square➡️Olympic Gymnastics Stadium (personal short course recommendation, if you go in the opposite direction from here and go towards the Children’s Museum, you can take a lap) 🅿️600 won per ten minutes 🚍Mongchontoseong Station

The flagstone construction around Mongchon Moat in Olympic Park has been completed and is partially open. Swings and chairs have been installed, and the circular sculpture on the Olympic rings has been newly created. The fences around the National Sports Museum (scheduled to open in the second half of the year) were also removed.
Even though the wind at Olympic Park was cold, the sky was blue and clear, so I felt high throughout the walk. It's nice to walk in a large park while listening to the birds, and seeing the sculptures again and again feels new... Today, I even visited the Hanseong Baekje Museum <The Secret of Pungnaptoseong>. The children had fun experiencing various things. All Park is a great place for healing where you can gain a lot every time you come.👍
Even in the cold weather at Olympic Park, there are many people running and walking fully armed with hats and gloves. Olympic Park in early winter is a delight to the eyes and mind with its many colors. ☺️ It was so beautiful with the clear blue sky and the fallen leaves on the trees on the hill that I looked up at it for a long time. Beneath the trees that have lost all their leaves, the bamboo and pine trees are surviving the winter in a lush green environment, white herons lazing around in Seongnae Stream, the red sunset was wonderful, and today was a healing time enjoying nature. 🎁 🎁 🎁 Olpak is the best every time I come. 👍👍👍

The magnolias are starting to bloom. They’ll probably be in full bloom by the end of this week. Cornelian cherry blossoms are blooming along Sansuyu-gil and all over the park. Around Mongchonhaeja, a lot of new things have recently been installed, like sunbeds, two-person swings, and chairs.

On this spring-like day, I went for a stroll in Olympic Park and felt the change of seasons with my whole body. Around 88 Lake, white magnolias, cornelian cherry, and forsythia were blooming in their own colors, signaling spring. Along the earthen path of Mongchontoseong, the scenery was full of signs of spring. A pale-green weeping willow standing alone in the wide lawn beside the slope and the guardian tree that still seemed to hold onto winter each caught my eye in their own way. From Mangwolbong, looking down at Mongchon Lake and Peace Plaza opened up the view and cleared my mind. It was a little disappointing that Mongchon Lake was still bare and hadn't quite gotten ready for spring yet. Even so, Olympic Park captured the charm of a transition where winter and spring coexist and left me with a special memory from the outing.
