The first famous store that comes to mind when you think of Sinchon Chicken Hanmari. There is a reason why this place is always bustling with customers. The chicken is fresh and tasty, and the soup is also delicious. Be sure to add assorted sari. If you go to Sinchon, this is a place you must visit at least once.

The soup is clean and delicious without any irritation! The rice cake is also chewy, probably because it was made from a mill. The ingredients feel fresh ^^ The staff are also friendly~

I came to Sinchon with my friends and it's famous, so I came here. The owner was friendly and the taste was really good, so I had fun eating there. There are a lot of malatangs around here, but it's less irritating and refreshing, so I enjoyed it.🙌🏻
I've been coming here at least once every month or two for the past 3 years. It's really delicious and the staff are very friendly and cheerful🥹 Ha... If you come to Sinchon, you definitely have to come here. It's really so delicious. From the sauce to the side dishes to the main course, there's nothing that isn't delicious... And it's also fun to look at the paintings and figures in the store!
I went to Yudak Story Dakganghanmari Sinchon branch, which is famous for its Sinchon restaurants. I thought I could order one chicken for 2 people, so I ordered one chicken without spicy flavor. The service here is very good. Please bring an apron and make your own chicken porridge as it won't splatter on your clothes!! If you run out of broth, you can add more, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the hot, rich soup 🙂

My husband and I went on a long-awaited outing to Sinchon and eating out. Warm soup is good. The sauce is good and perfect for this weather. It’s great to hear that it was listed as a famous restaurant in Seoul in 2026!

It's been a while since I went on an outing to Sinchon. If you come out of Exit 3 of Sinchon Station, walk a bit, and turn around with Paris Baguette, you will see the large ‘Dakhanmari’ sign. There was already a wait in front, so I waited about 10 minutes before going in. When it first came out, the soup was clear and there was only chicken, green onions, and potatoes, so I thought, “Huh? It’s simpler than I thought, isn’t it?” I thought so, but the moment I took a bite, my thoughts completely changed. I'm always drawn to the light yet deep flavor. There are separate instructions on how to make the sauce here, and it's really delicious if you just follow it. (I recommend adding just a little bit of mustard without being greedy haha) When it starts to boil, they tell you to eat the rice cake, chicken, and potatoes in that order, but I couldn't resist and took a bite of the chicken first... It's delicious to eat on its own, but it has another charm when dipped in sauce. It’s been a while since I had a good meal!
I went there with a friend because it was a good restaurant in Sinchon. There were quite a few people waiting, but the wait was shorter than expected. I thought it would be enough for two people to order one chicken, so I placed my order while waiting. As the chicken continues to simmer, the soup becomes incredibly delicious!!! Also, maybe because it's a 30-year tradition, it's really delicious when you eat it with salad and chicken dip. I added chicken porridge, and the chicken kalguksu looked delicious when I saw the customer sitting next to me eat it.
This is a place I stop by every time I want to eat chicken in Sinchon, and I can honestly say that it is by far the best chicken I have ever eaten. First of all, the soup is on a different level. It's deep and rich, but has a clean aftertaste, so you feel relieved as soon as you take a bite. The chicken is so soft and elastic, without any odor, that I was impressed the whole time I was eating it. The best part of this restaurant is the special sauce that they make themselves. The ratio of spicy minced seasoning, soy sauce, and mustard goes amazingly with the meat and vegetables. The rice cakes served in the middle are also exceptionally chewy, and the kalguksu noodles at the end are a must, not an option. The soup soaks into the noodles perfectly, making it a perfect finish. The owner and staff always provide friendly service, so I leave with a pleasant meal every time I visit. This place also highly recommends the chicken.
