Today at lunch I ordered tteokbokki and sundae from Sagari Tteokbokki, in the alley behind Seoul Garden Hotel near Mapo Station. I was working nearby and wanted something light, and while walking down the back street I noticed this tteokbokki place, which is rare around here. I thought, this is it, and went in. I had tteokbokki, sundae, and cola, and since it had just opened, it was clean, affordable, and tasty, perfect for a quick bite. Next time I want to try the gimbap and fried items too. While I was eating, people from the office buildings nearby kept coming in to take food to go. The young owner was friendly and polite, which made a good impression. They said it had only been open for a few days, but with how busy it already is, it feels like it’s going to do really well.
