This is what Changnyeong Wigungjaesa Temple looks like in winter on Thursday, February 26, 2026. You can see the whole thing at this time from the mountain. The sky is very clear.

2024.12.4 Wednesday Hanok in the middle of North Seoul Dream Forest Park. This is Changnyeongwigungjaesa. These days, a wedding is being held here. As I was passing by, I thought about it and posted it. Have a good life~~ Come and get healing at least once in your life. The weather is nice and the sky is clear.

This is a quiet hanok that still retains the breath of the Joseon royal family, and is a space where sadness, love, and historical times reside together. This is Changnyeong Wigungjaesa Temple, and it is also a space that contains the story of Princess Bok-on, the second daughter of King Sunjo, the 23rd king of the Joseon Dynasty. Changnyeongwigungjaesa is the ancestral home of Princess Bokon and her sire Changnyeongwi Kim Byeong-ju, and is located in Dream Forest in North Seoul. At first glance, this is a Hanok with traces of a long history. It is a single-story wooden tile-roofed house with two rooms on the front and two rooms on the sides, quietly sitting on a high pole stone platform. Beyond being an old building, this place is also a record of the lives and memories left by descendants of the royal family. After Princess Bok-on passed away in 1832, her tomb was located around here, and the tomb of her husband Kim Byeong-ju was also built here.

🏯🇰🇷With traces of the noble person who resisted Japanese colonial rule⛅️🏯 Changnyeong Wigungjaesa (昌寧尉宮齋舍)🎏🏯🎎 is a Korean Hanok (National Registered Cultural Heritage No. 40) located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. I heard it was a son-in-law's house, but I was surprised that it was very ordinary and small in size🤫 ⏰️10 minutes to view the entire house ✅️🎎Residence of King Sunjo's second daughter, Princess Bokon, and her sire Changnyeongwi Kim Byeong-ju (1819-1853) ✅️🏯Built in the late Joseon Dynasty Palace structure (important example) ✅️🏗 Rebuilt after destruction during the Korean War (1955) ✅️🇰🇷 A noble place where Kim Seok-jin, the son of Kim Byeong-ju's adopted son, committed suicide after refusing the title of Japanese baron (amazing👍) ❌️There is nothing and only a shabby house (even an exhibition of props..) ❌️An exhibition of people who died in the country is also included It would be nice 📍Recommended to stop by when visiting Bukseoul Forest 🅿️Use Bukseoul Forest parking lot (1,800 won per hour) 🚍Mia Intersection Station No. 2/Gangbuk 05

- It is a traditional Hanok in the late Joseon Dynasty architectural style, and is part of the space where Changnyeongwi (the king's relatives) lived. - The elegant tile roof and fence create an old-fashioned atmosphere.

2025.1.31 Friday Changnyeong Wigungjaesa Temple is a popular wedding venue with nature. It is located in the middle of North Seoul Dream Forest, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. It snowed today so I am leaving a video. It will be a memory for those who got married here haha ^^

It is located in the forest of North Seoul. Although it is small, it is good for experiencing a different atmosphere within the park. It seems that various play experiences are held here during the holidays, so it would be a good idea to visit with children.
