For lunch on the weekend, I enjoyed Jjajangmyeon, sweet and sour pork set, and grilled dumplings.

There was a trend of customer orders focusing on the marbled jjamppong, and the soup is a type of soup with a rich spicy and marbled flavor. A one-person set with sweet and sour pork (5 pieces) is included, and it is a “noodle/fried rice + side” composition, so it is stable for solo/light meal satisfaction. The fried rice is composed of fluffy rice grains and an egg, and is generously spread with black bean paste sauce, making it a solid finishing menu. Tablet ordering/self-corner movement is simple, so it is eaten and served quickly. It's good for a meal. It's a good place to take home food and drinks or hangover when a friend comes to visit.

I only go to Chinhyang on weekends, but this was my first time having lunch on a weekday. I was surprised by how many people there were. I almost had to wait, but it was a good meal!😋😋

Wow...did I finally find out about this restaurant?😭 I've been living in Daehak-dong for over a year and passed it by every time I passed by, but to commemorate my move, I visited Chinhyang Chinese Restaurant for the first time~! At first, without much expectation, I ordered Samseon fried rice, chadol jjamppong, and sweet and sour pork, which I often order, but as soon as I ate them, I was like, wow... 👀 Samseon fried rice has that nutty taste and flavor even if you eat it without jjajang sauce, and it tastes even better if you mix it with jjajang sauce👍 The marbled jjamppong is a harmonious combination of meat and vegetables without feeling greasy, and the freshness of the vegetables was so high that my boyfriend who went with me ate all the vegetables 😉 Plus... the sweet and sour pork... it's very chewy and the outside is crispy, so it's the ultimate in softness. Even the sauce is sweet and sour👍 When I left after eating, the inside of the restaurant was crowded and there were a lot of customers waiting! A must-visit Chinese restaurant for all Gwanak residents! I recommend it🫶🏻

I visited on a weekday evening and there were so many customers that I couldn't find an empty seat. There are also seats for 1-2 people, so it was a comfortable atmosphere to eat alone. I ordered oyster jjamppong and red pepper japchae rice, and both tasted good because they were fried right away. Oyster Jjamppong contains plenty of seafood and the broth is refreshing. The Jjamppong soup that came with the red pepper japchae rice was a bit sweet, but I'm curious how the Jjamppong alone would taste. The sweet and sour pork had a lot of meat and the fries were crispy, but I felt the sauce was a bit lacking, but I told the staff about it and they gave me some extra sauce. There are a variety of sets, and if you don't have enough rice, you can eat more at the self-service bar. If you come by car, you can park about 6 cars in the parking lot in front of the store. Getting in and out can be a bit tight, but there always seems to be space.

The taste and quantity read my original intention... I understand that the price of Jjambbong went up by 1,000 won due to the increase in food ingredients, but if that were the case, the amount of ingredients should have been the same, but it has become too poor. Of course, I know that seasoning is used in Jjamppong, but perhaps because less ingredients were added, the taste of the seasoning was more evident, and I felt the unique greasy taste of the seasoning. It was a Jjamppong that no longer felt like the Jjamppong of a Chinese restaurant that is good at cooking. I visited not only today but more than three times recently, but I was disappointed that I no longer felt the taste of the basic Jjamppong I had when it first opened. Please do not misunderstand that the photos of the food are small because I took them while eating them to write a review.

I changed the lunch set menu to Jjambbong and enjoyed it. I liked the grilled dumplings and sweet and sour pork especially because they were crispy.

I ate Baek Jjamppong. The ingredients were plentiful, light, spicy, and delicious.
