안내 표지판을 보다가 정선의 호 오류 발견. '겸제' 정선이 아니라, '겸재(謙齋)'임. 구기동, 평창동 갈 때 지나가며 늘 보던 정자. 여긴 세검정터이고, 지금 정자는 1977년에 복원됨. 이 날은 세검정 버스정류장에서 내려서 백사실 계곡 산책로를 걷기 시작함.

洗劍亭, 검을 씻어 내었다고 하여 생긴 이름이라고 합니다. 인조반정 때 이 귀, 김 유등이 모여 광해군 폐위를 두고 의논하여 칼을 씻은 곳이라고 하여 붙여진 곳이라고 합니다. 정자는 영조 24년에 다시 지었으나 화재로 1977년에 옛 모습으로 복원하였다고 합니다. 큰 바위 위에 정자 세워져 있습니다. 저는 소림사에서 내려다보았습니다.

인조반정의 역사가 녹아있는 세검정과 홍지문, 탕춘대성입니다.홍제천길을 따라 오간수대문을 통과해 산책하기 좋습니다. ’탕춘(蕩春）은 봄을 즐긴다‘라는 연산군 일화와 관련있습니다. 홍지문은 이정재 감독의 영화 <헌트 (2022)>의 촬영장소입니다.
