New Year's sunrise at the summit of Daemosan Mountain

There's nothing more than I thought

* Daemosan Mountain, a sacred place for barefoot walking, where there are so many people walking barefoot. Even on a hot summer day, most of the walking path is under the shade, so it's okay to walk without a hat. These days, there are many other good barefoot paths, but there is a reason why this is the first barefoot path that was created spontaneously.

It's a nice mountain with lots of shade that's good for walking even barefoot.

Daemosan Mountain takes 7 to 8 minutes on foot from Exit 5 of Ilwon Station to the entrance of the mountain, and most of the course is well paved with decks (1.3 kilometers to the top) or stairs (1 kilometer to the top), making it an easy trekking course.

I went to Daemosan Mountain. The stairs on the hiking trail are well maintained. The view is not good at the top, but the heliport on the way from the top of Daemosan Mountain to Guryongsan Mountain has a good view.

* A clean and wonderful view of Daemosan Mountain in Ilwon-dong in the late afternoon after the rain. If you take the shortest route from Ilwon Station, you can climb up in about 40 minutes, and the view of the Han River from the helicopter market next to the summit is truly spectacular. The sound of the moktak within the Bulguksa Temple grounds, along with the scenery as if drawn to you on the way down the mountain, revitalizes your mind. Daemosan Mountain on a lucky day

This is a beginner hiking course of less than 300m:) We started from Hansol Park, and if you go to the right of Garak-gil, you will see Bulguksa Temple and the entrance to the hiking trail:) It takes about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip. It is a well-maintained and refreshing mountain. It is recommended for beginners or those who want to hike lightly.

Daemosan Mountain is a great place to climb easily from downtown Seoul! It's close to the subway station, so accessibility is great. The height (293m) is not burdensome and the hiking trail is well maintained, making it perfect for beginners or families. The slope is gentle, so you can climb it even in sneakers. From the observatory near the summit, you can enjoy a refreshing view of downtown Seoul and Lotte World Tower. It usually takes about an hour to reach the summit, and courses linking Guryongsan Mountain are also popular. It was a great mountain for healing in a green forest like the ‘lungs of Gangnam’!

Like a mother's embrace, Daemosan in Ilwon-dong. After it snows, the snowy view from the summit and the view of the Han River are beautiful. The ice is a bit frozen, so you need crampons now. The sunset seen from across the way is also lovely~
