Visited Dongdaemun Yupdduk after a while, and today I went for something different — gukmul dakbal (soupy chicken feet). As expected, the broth was rich and thick, with the tteok and dangmyeon (glass noodles) soaking up all that flavor. The chicken feet are boneless so they're clean to eat, and the chewy texture fills your whole mouth. I chose the mild level but still got that classic Yupdduk kick. The jumeok-gimbap (mini rice rolls) on the side perfectly balanced out the spice. Especially when you dip the gyeran-jjim (steamed egg) in the broth — the spicy + savory combo is heavenly! That combo alone is reason enough to reorder.
