I visited General Gang Gam-chan's birthplace, which was called Nakseongdae because a star fell from the sky when he was born. I think General Gang Gam-chan, who drove out the Khitan army with a show of force even at the age of 60 during the Yuyao War a thousand years ago, is truly amazing. Although he came from a civil service background, I think his leadership skills of going directly to Dongbuk-myeon (now Hamheung, North Korea) and leading tough military officers were also remarkable. It is truly amazing that whenever the Korean nation is in danger, great figures such as Gang Gam-chan, Yi Sun-sin, and Eulji Mundeok appear to save the country. Oh, Yi Sun-sin of Goryeo, who resisted until the end in the Yeoyao War and then wandered off! I hope General Yang Gyu is also known. Anyway, I went to Nakseongdae to receive General Kang Gam-chan’s strong spirit and good energy!

A great place to see fall foliage in Seoul~~ Yesterday I went to Seoul National University Gwanak Campus, and today I went to Nakseongdae Park on the other side. The autumn leaves were so pretty that I was amazed and amazed again. It was a perfect day with no wind and not too cold. It's not too late to see the fall foliage! Just walk for an hour at Nakseongdae Park... 👍

After coming to Nakseongdae Station, I searched and found a park nearby, so I rested at a 7-Eleven convenience store and then departed. Today is also a sunny day in Seocho-dong, Seoul, around Nakseongdae Station, and around Hongik University Station. That's why we need water and shade to rest properly. There is rain in Seoul around the weekend, and there will be heavy rain tomorrow as well☔️ Is there any news? Because I don't know which area and how many people will come ☂️ 🌧☔️⛈️ 🛑 I am a reviewer and YouTuber who introduces restaurants & cafes, scenery & scenery while walking through city streets and trails in Korea ✅️ MY Place Review Ranking TOP 300 ✅️ Naver TOP 300 reviewer ✅️Total number of review views: 5.6 million (2025-08-02) ✅️Reviewer: Eat, Walk, Plenty of Sunshine ✅️Naverly Viewer Search: Eat, Walk, Plenty of Sunshine ✅️Naver Clip & Naver Blog ♦️1) Eat Food, Plenty of Sunshine YouTuber ♦️Video Topic: Restaurant, cafe

Nakseongdae is named after the legend that a large star fell on the birthplace of General Gang Gam-chan, a famous general of the Goryeo Dynasty, when he was born, and Nakseongdae Park was created to commemorate the general's achievements. When you enter the park, there is a bronze statue of a general charging on horseback with his sword drawn. Passing through Angukmun Gate, you can see Anguksa Temple, the shrine of General Gang Gam-chan, the three-story stone pagoda installed at the birthplace of General Gang Gam-chan, and the General Gang Gam-chan historical monument. Although it is not large in size, it feels like it is well managed as a valuable resting and learning space for citizens, and I receive good energy from the sturdy portrait.
