No, no... it's so delicious, right?^^ How does it taste even better?! I ordered one serving, but it looks like they put a little more than usual? It was great~~~^^ A place I have to go again!!

I'm sad that the taste of my memories has disappeared. It was a snack bar that I used to frequent since I was young, but I stopped by after a long time and the taste has changed a lot. First of all, the rice cakes are not the same as before, and the taste has become vague... It's so unfortunate. The taste has changed, but it's a shame that the price has gone up.

I visited Baekbaek Bunsik again after almost a year. Because the weather was rainy and bad today, there seemed to be fewer guests in the hall than expected. Still, the number of takeout customers was steady. I only thought about tteokbokki, grilled dumplings (3 pieces), and skewered fish cakes (2 pieces), but when I saw Onjango(?)'s hot dog called Gyeonmulsaengsim, I had no choice but to add it. Options include both sugar and ketchup. Tteokbokki comes with glass noodles as standard. It seems like the noodles are mixed with tteokbokki and served together when an order is placed. The sweetness is strong, but not overly so. It's really shiny and has a nice chewy wheat rice cake texture. During my first visit last year, I heard that they make all the hot dogs themselves, from kneading to frying. It’s fun to eat it dipped in tteokbokki soup. They are really friendly and the store is very clean so I am even more satisfied ^^

I went to Baekbaek Bunsik, which was recommended by a colleague and has good reviews in the tteokbokki community. I couldn't eat there on my first visit because it was closed, but luckily it was open today. On the menu, I ordered tteokbokki, dumplings, fish cakes, and hot dogs. Tteokbokki is made of chewy wheat rice cake and has a strong sweetness, but is it sweet enough to not exceed my standard? Very delicious. How can Yoongi be so hot? I read the review and it said that the dumplings are like dumplings from a Chinese restaurant, but the dumpling filling is just vermicelli like typical yaki dumplings from a snack bar. When I asked if they made their own hot dogs, I was told that they were 100% handmade using fermented dough, a taste that no ready-made product could ever imitate. The owner is alone, but the interior of the store is kept completely clean, and his style of serving customers is very gentle. When we came out, they even packaged 2 additional servings. Very satisfying visit^^

I visited because I wanted to eat tteokbokki. It tasted like old-fashioned tteokbokki. The ramen that someone else cooked for me after a long time was also delicious.

3 servings of tteokbokki, 3 servings of fried dumplings..... The portions are too small.

The glass noodles in tteokbokki are unique and delicious.

There is no other tteokbokki restaurant like this one in our neighborhood. I go there when I miss the nostalgia I had when I was young.

The snack shop I originally wanted to go to was closed, so I went for the 100% snack food and it was delicious. I ordered the hot dog with no expectations, but the bread was crispy and the sausage was delicious. It tastes even better when dipped in tteokbokki soup. The tteokbokki was even more delicious because it had glass noodles instead of odeng 🩷
