I guess I'm addicted to Akasaka puffer fish soup, and it's become a restaurant I go to every time I have lunch in Gangnam ^^ The new side dishes that change a little each time I go are so delicious 👍 The refreshing puffer fish soup full of vegetables is of course the best! It comes with a bowl of soybean paste so you can mix some of the vegetables, and the puffer fish salad, fried puffer fish, and soybean paste seasoning are all so delicious that you can always eat up all the leftovers. This is a restaurant that will make anyone fall in love with the taste and sincerity! This restaurant is even more enjoyable because the staff are friendly and provide detailed explanations every time!!

If you want to enjoy authentic Japanese food near Gangnam Station, I highly recommend Akasaka Japanese Cuisine's 'Kwak Moon-young Signature' course. The most impressive menu item was definitely the puffer fish sashimi aged for 48 hours. Perhaps due to the aging process, the puffer fish had a chewy texture and deep savory flavor. The included components are also highly complete. From the puffer fish kelp aged sushi to the savory flavor of puffer fish and barley miso, to the mouth-watering puffer pollack roe and yubiki, each and every item was a taste of great care. In particular, the puffer fish nikogori and sweet sweet shrimp sushi felt like they melted in my mouth, and the lightly grilled puffer fish misoyaki was also a delicacy among delicacies. Finishing off with the refreshing bokguk soup and a clean dessert, it was a perfect meal and I received a lot of compliments from my friends!

Review of return visit. I don’t want to write this because I’m afraid it will spread rumors… I am so satisfied that I am writing this to thank my boss. I ate a bowl of pufferfish soup at Akasaka Japanese Restaurant Gangnam Station Main Branch, and the table setting was so neat and pretty that I felt good from the moment I saw it. The refreshing puffer fish soup filled with puffer fish meat felt like my stomach was completely relaxed, and I was satisfied with the nico-gori, puffer fish karaage, seasoned puffer skin, fern, and salted pollack roe. The flow was really good, from the seasoning served in the style of steamed blowfish to the plum tea at the end. It was comfortable to eat because it was a private space, and it was even better because the staff kindly explained how to eat. I was so satisfied with my first visit that I brought other colleagues with me, and they were also good. Next time, I would like to visit again with my parents for a multi-course meal.

I had a meal with the recently released Korean version of pufferfish soup at Akasaka Japanese Restaurant, a puffer fish restaurant in Gangnam Station. The puffer fish soup served in a stone pot was topped with water parsley and enoki mushrooms, making it refreshing to look at, and the soup was clear and transparent, yet had a deep umami flavor. It was light and non-irritating, so it was comfortable on the stomach, and the pufferfish flesh was tender and well-prepared. The table composition was also satisfactory. The crispy fried puffer fish was moist on the outside and had a new chewy texture. It was my first time trying this food, but it felt like a pretty dessert. The overall balance of seasoned bokkin, fern, and pollack roe was good. When I put bean sprouts and enoki mushrooms in a bowl of red seasoned sauce and mixed them together, I was able to enjoy a different taste. The changed version~ Berry Good. It was a Korean dish worth having as a hangover or a healthy lunch. Return visit 200%

Chef Moonyoung Kwak's signature omakase course has a very stable overall flow and high level of perfection. The fresh bok choy sashimi composition has a good balance of texture and ripeness, and each detail is vivid. It is impressive that the dishes in the middle of the course are not overdone, but still retain the original taste of the ingredients. For my last meal, I requested the puff soup soup, which is only available for lunch, when I made a special reservation and shared it with my colleagues. The clean and deep soup completed the course and was a comforting finish to the inside. Overall, it was a highly satisfying course with clear success and results.

On a rainy day, ahead of our training schedule, a total of four people, including the CEO and director, visited Akasaka Japanese Restaurant in Gangnam Station. The composition of the ‘bokguk table’ was so excellent that it was hard to believe the price of 16,000 won. The clear and deep umami soup goes perfectly with the rainy weather, and the water parsley and enoki mushrooms mixed in Kurenai sauce whet the appetite. All executives were satisfied with the neat and tidy composition, from chewy puffer fish skin aemono to crispy karaage, salty cod roe and nikogori. Thanks to the careful explanation of the food and warm hospitality, it was perfect for hosting important people. I highly recommend this restaurant as the best value for money health food restaurant that will help you replenish your energy before training and start your day on a healthy note.

It's been a while since I went to Gangnam Station for work, but it's gotten better! I felt like the composition of the Korean table setting got better. I loved mixing the vegetables in the red sauce and eating it! Is it steamed seafood because I eat it with Bok? It was the same and good! It was great to be able to enjoy a variety of flavors at one table. I think the puffer fish soup has become even more delicious! The scent of Eun-eunsan citron goes so well with pufferfish soup! The seasoning was also very good! I wanted to eat it in a tumbler of soup haha. I really enjoyed it. The bokgaraage was so delicious that I ordered and ate more! I have to go back to work, but I also ordered a beer haha. I think the bokguk is the best here! I was satisfied in all aspects, including taste and cost-effectiveness!

If you are looking for authentic Japanese food in Gangnam, there is a place I would like to quietly recommend. That's Akasaka. Second visit^^ The menu chosen that day was ‘Bokguk Hansang’. I was surprised once by the clear and deep soup, and twice by the elasticity of the light puffer fish meat. The moment I took my first spoonful, I thought, “Ah… this is why I eat puffer fish soup.” The soup is clear and thick without being greasy. It's not irritating, but the finish is clear. It's perfect for days like these when you want to ease your stomach. The composition of the Korean table setting is neat and uncluttered. The balance of rice, side dishes, and puffed fish soup is stable, so it looks good for a business meal or when you take your parents with you. I don't know how many dishes I ate~ I'm lucky to be able to enjoy this quality pufferfish soup at this price in Gangnam~

We had lunch with coworkers at Akasaka Japanese Restaurant Main Branch near Gangnam Station, recommended by an acquaintance, with a bowl of blowfish soup. It felt like being treated to an omakase-style lunch, so I was in a good mood from the start. There was plenty of blowfish, and the variety was impressive, from tempura to miso-grilled fish, blowfish jelly, seasoned blowfish, and steamed blowfish, making me think, “Is it really okay to enjoy this much at this price?” They even explained the same-day milled Koshihikari rice, and I kept reaching for the bracken and pollack roe side dishes. The staff responded quickly and explained things calmly, which my coworkers also liked, and they refilled the side dishes without making it awkward. Even though it was lunchtime, the table setting stayed neat, and the spacing between tables made conversation easy. Finishing with plum tea for dessert, it really felt like I’d been treated to a proper meal. I was surprised to find this kind of set near Gangnam Station, and next time I’d like to bring my parents and siblings too. I’ll be back.

I came here after looking for a good private-room restaurant near Gangnam Station, Akasaka Japanese Gangnam main branch. The private rooms made it quiet and great for gatherings or business dinners, and it was easy to focus on the conversation. The course came out right on time, so there was no waiting, and the staff only stepped in when needed, which felt very comfortable. The Kwak Moon-young Chef Omakase course lets you try pufferfish in every way, from sashimi to soup. In particular, the tiger pufferfish miso-yaki you can only enjoy here had a clean, light flavor with rich miso umami and was perfect with drinks. Even the dessert at the end was neat and polished, so I'm definitely coming back. It's also easy to get to from Gangnam Station, so it's convenient for making plans. If it's an important occasion, I recommend it with confidence. Being in a private room makes photos feel easy too. I'll be back.
