It was nice to take a walk at Seokchon Lake with clear skies and warm weather. Walk slowly while looking at the wide lake, stop by the special exhibition of the Songpa Artists Association at The Gallery Lake, and watch the preparations for the first full moon performance at the Seoul Amusement Park. There are so many things to see around, so time passes quickly once you come out. I look forward to the cherry blossoms at Seokchon Lake, a famous spot for cherry blossoms.

The colorful and pretty lights of Seokchon Lake Luminarie and the lights shining on the lake are very beautiful. The night view of Lotte Tower, adventure rides, and Hanok cafe is also pretty. Walking while listening to classical music from the speakers is romantic and feels like a trip. There are many people who walk and run even in the evening. Seokchon Lake is a true resting place for Seoul citizens day and night.

A luminary filled with 270,000 lights!! I come to Seokchon Lake often because it's close to my house, but the fact that there's such a wonderful sculpture is definitely 100 times more beautiful than the picture. It's truly jaw-dropping. There's a goose sleeping on the frozen lake.

Jamsilbeol, north of Seokchon Lake, used to be the Han River with a ferry port on the south side of West Lake, but as time passed, silt piled up and an artificial island was created, creating a new river that forms the Songpa River and Sincheon River that now pass through Seokchon Lake from under Gwangjingyo Bridge to Jamsil Baseball Stadium. In 1969, when the development of the riverbed of the main stream of the Han River began, the river was reclaimed, but part of it was left as a lake. In the early 1980s, the lake was maintained and turned into a park. With the opening of Songpa-daero, Songpanaru Park is divided into East Lake and West Lake with the same shape as Seokchon Lake. It is an ideal park with a lake and a park, and has a jogging course and walking path, so it is widely used as a resting place for citizens. Seoul Amusement Park and Lotte World's Magic Island are installed in West Lake, and nearby are Lotte World, Lotte Tower, and Hangang Park.

This is a picture of Seokchon Lake at sunset on a fine dust-free day. It's a picture. It's divided into East Lake and West Lake, and it's so big that it takes about an hour to walk around. There's Lotte World and Charlotte Theater in West Lake, Lotte World Mall and Signiel in East Lake, and Songnidan-gil Cafe Street is connected to the food alley, so there are lots of places to go after a walk.

This is a huge lake located in Jamsil. It is said that it was originally the Han River. Sand piled up, divided it from the Han River, and was later renovated to create the lake it is today. You can still see traces of Songpa Ferry, where ships used to travel through the Han River. The East Lake is attached to Lotte Tower and the West Lake is attached to Lotte World, and the trails around it are well-maintained, so it's good for a walk. Lotte World Mall, Songnidan-gil, Bangi-dong Food Alley, It's easy to get to anywhere, so there are places to walk and go. There are many

It is Songpa-gu's representative tourist attraction and resting place that is great to visit any time of the year. Currently, luminaries are on display here and there, so the night view is beautiful, so it's a good idea to visit at night. There will be an exhibition at Luminari in front of Jamsil Lotte Avenuel Plaza until March 7th, so if you go nearby, you can see it together.

I visited Seokchon Lake on the last weekend of 2025, when the cold wave stopped for a while. It was very cold a few days ago, but the cold wave subsided for a while, so I visited Seokchon Lake. It was a Sunday morning and there were many people out for a walk. It was a little disappointing that I couldn't see Lotte Tower properly because of the fog, but it wasn't cold so it was nice to take a walk around Seokchon Lake. After a busy week, I heal by going around the beautiful Seokchon Lake.

After visiting the Songpa Tourist Information Center to get the Korea Tourism Top 100 stamp certified, I looked around Seokchon Lake. Seokchon Lake is divided into East Lake and West Lake, which represent Songpa-gu, Seoul. The view from West Lake with Lotte World Tower in the background is impressive. You can walk 2.5km around the lake, and it is famous for its cherry blossoms in spring.😃😃😃
