Arrive at Gwangmyeong Cave in 1 hour from Gimpo to Gwangmyeong. Gimpo citizens in the western part of Gyeonggi Province receive a 50% discount on the admission fee. My son-in-law's leg muscles have become stronger as he explores the upper and lower caves with his granddaughter sitting on him. I am very grateful to Gwangmyeong City. Thank you for visiting the wonderful cave. The staff guided me everywhere so I felt comfortable and at ease during the Japanese colonial period! My heart aches, but I am thankful for Korea right now¡

Cave vacation part 3! Park in the lower parking lot and go up the stairs to reach the ticket booth. There is also an unmanned ticket machine at the cave entrance. The cave has a variety of themes and there are no activities such as a boat experience like live jade or amethyst, but the space where you enter the 30m underground world along the 163 stairs is mysterious and wonderful. And the Media Facade, which projects CG and nature footage onto the cave rock wall using a beam projector, was shown for 4 minutes every 10 minutes. My head was sore, but it was cool. Robot fish swim around in Cave Aqua World, which was very popular with children. I thought there was less water falling than other caves, but my husband, who was following me, said he got hit by a lot of water droplets. The last course was the wine tunnel, where various wines were on sale. The cave is made great for taking pictures with various lighting and LED lights.

The lights are so pretty. It's a short period of time so it's good to go around. Dress warmly.

Wow.. a cave deeper than the 63 building with up to 8 underground levels.. I was really impressed. It was nice to be able to see the historical parts first-hand, and there were many staff members stationed in the middle to guide you so you didn't get lost and even provided an explanation guide! They were kind, and I heard that they only sell wine here, so I bought it haha. I recommend it!!👍✨🌱

I went to the cave because I heard it was warm in winter... It was cold. If the weather had been nicer, I think I would have been able to look around inside for longer. The media art and the aquarium aren't that great, but I don't think it was bad. Still, it was nice to get out of the city and look around with my family for about an hour. The price is not very cheap, 10,000 won per person. It was 3,000 won for seniors and students. Afterwards, we had a meal near Gwangmyeong. We saw the cave, ate, and had fun for half a day with that package. If you think about it, it's just that kind of place.

I went to Gwangmyeong Cave. It is said that the number of visitors is very full in the summer, but these days it is a bit quieter so it is easy to see. Gwangmyeong City has purchased an abandoned coal mine and is operating it as a tourist destination, and the coal mine has been transformed into a very nice place. I thought it was a place where you can learn from the difficult times during the Japanese colonial era and how it was transformed into a cultural and arts tourist destination, and where you can see history from a new perspective. It's a great place to visit with kids.

It would have been better if I had known in advance about the 50% discount in the western Gyeonggi area😅 It was an interesting cave tour with a lot to see and the route was not boring. I thought it would be warm because it's winter, but it's quite chilly, so dress up! There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared!

It is a cave experience attraction using an abandoned mine. The interior has good walking paths and stairs, and there are many things to see, making it a good place to visit with children. There is also a cafe and outdoor seating area at the entrance, so it is nice to have a moment of relaxation while looking at the scenery after visiting the cave. There was a drone show that day so there were a lot of people. 1,000 drones decorate the night sky, creating a variety of appearances, making it a truly beautiful night.
