Suraksan Valley water is flowing between stones. Spring is in full swing in March. This place has a lot of flat floors, so I think it would be a good place for small items.

As of November 4, 2025, the autumn leaves were beautifully colored. It's been a while since I came to Suraksan Mountain, and it's hard. The round trip from Cheonghak Beach parking lot - Naewonam - Surak Mountain Lodge - summit took about 5.6km and 1 hour and 44 minutes. (It is short and thick and can be done in about 2 hours) However, be careful as there are a lot of stairs and stone steps^^ The autumn leaves are ripening~ It is full fall.

I went to the Seoknimsa Train Rock Jubong course at Jangam Station in Suraksan Mountain. The Train Rock is dizzying, and the view while climbing Suraksan Mountain is really cool~~

They said they wanted to experience Suraksan Train Rock, so I gave them directions. Before going up, warm up and do basic exercises. Mirror hiking, in case you don't know, hot pack, gloves, warm water, headache hat, hiking stick, crampons are a must. An extra pair of thermal clothes is also a must. After sweating, you get cold, so pay attention to maintaining body temperature. Hydration is also important. Depart from Jangam Station. Seoknimsa Temple Gutter Rock, Train Rock, Alien Rock, Jubong Rock, Backpack Rock, Moat Rock. It was a perfect course for taking pictures of Cheolmo Rock and coming down from Suraksan Station, taking 4 hours and 33 minutes.

It was a very pretty hike through the valley. The surrounding mountains seen on the way up were also very nice. There are quite a few rough roads in between and there are sections where you have to hold a rope, so you need to be careful about safety. Be sure to bring hiking shoes, gloves, and snacks 🙂
