Suyugogi Geumdondon Galbi

I couldn't take a photo of the meat on top of the grill 🤔. But I had samgyeopsal (beef short ribs) and it was super delicious! The side dishes were incredibly generous, and the soup served in an enormous pot was a nice surprise - unlike those tiny bowls for the spicy chili sauce 😮. It's been a while since I've had good galbi, but this place really delivers! And as a bonus, I got to take my receipt with me 📝. The owner is super friendly too 👵, especially since she's there in person, doing things with her mom 😊.

The food is so delicious! It's domestic, but this price is unbelievable! The staff are super friendly too and there's a self-serve section with all sorts of dishes to try. I really want to come back here again! 🍴

The food was delicious! The service is basic, but the jjigae (spicy stew) is like clear pork broth, so it's great value for money.

This place is super delicious! They cook well, so you should try it out! I originally thought that raw beef would be great with just charcoal, but if there's any impurities, then the dish tastes better. And yeah, they do have one impurity here... good job! The fermentation was done already and... yeah, it's good ~~ This is my second visit already! Haha

We went with our family and parents, and the meat was really delicious! The parking lot is also spacious and it's easy to bring in various side dishes from the salad bar.

I visited during lunchtime and tried the galbi - it was super tender and delicious 🤩. However, the pork galbi was too sweet for my taste, but this place has a more balanced flavor that I love! 💕👏 I'll be back often 💜💜💜

The galbi here is smoky and delicious, I loved it! 😊 The reason the review isn't great is that it's a chain. It's still really good though because they're born out of a trusty recommendation - the pork belly was amazing! 🤩 And their sauerkraut stew was a must-try, so well done!

❤️ Galbi at Gold Medal in Su Yu is amazing!!! My friend recommended it and I started with the samgyeopsal, but samgyeopsal all the way! 😍 The quality of the domestic samgyeopsal is really good, especially when it's cooked on a hot plate. As a Korean, you'll feel right at home with the thickness of the meat. It's even possible to cook just with charcoal, no gas needed. 🧡 I tried the special menu item, house-made pork galbi, thinking it was one of the options, and wow... it's actually different! The galbi is cooked exactly like my husband's favorite spot in Dongmun-dong - much more delicious! 💙 What's amazing about Gold Medal is their self-service corner... with mushroom cheese pancake, squid tofu, okra tofu, radish kimchi, and cucumber kimchi that you can make yourself. Don't just have the basic side dishes, try the self-service corner for sure! It's so worth it!

I go here to eat beef tongue often, but it's a good deal during lunch hours - they give you a free side for two people, so the value is great 😂👍. The service also comes with doenjang jjigae (fermented soybean paste stew) and galbi that's actually real meat, not just a imitation 🤯. I liked it because the sauce wasn't too spicy 😊. Lunch menu starts at 7500 won during lunch hours when everyone is rushing around 😂👀

The grilled meat was really tender and delicious! They also served it with some sliced meat occasionally, which I appreciated because the server was friendly.
