Seogung

탕수육은 볶아서 달라고 주문했습니다. 자극적인 비주얼에 비해 소스의 맛은 생각보다 달지않았습니다. 하지만 고기튀김에서 상당한 내공이 느껴지고 슴슴하다 생각했던 소스는 배불러도 계속 들어가게끔하는 매력과 맛이 있습니다. 군만두와 삼선볶음밥도 아주 맛있었습니다.

여의도 정통의 볶음밥 맛집이긴 한데.. 아무런 토핑도 없는 저 구성으로는 식사가 안되는거같아요. 그리고 너무 탄맛이 나서 사장님께 말씀드려서 다시 볶아서 주셨어요. 저녁에 술한잔 하면서 요리랑 맛보기 정도로는 먹을만하지만 점심 식사로는 쫌 무리가 있어요.

가격이 그새 천원 올랏네요.. 볶음밥 만두는 여전히 맛나고. 탕슉도 생각보다 맛납니다 ㅎㅎ

덴뿌라와 오향장육 혼또니 오이시이~~

군만두는 가끔 포장으로 먹었는데 정식으로 매장에 앉아서 먹는 건 10년 넘은 거 같습니다. 진짜 오랜만에 먹어보는 탕수육은 기억보다 더 맛있네요 ♡♡ 그리고 오향장육 고기가 완전 담백해요. 부드러우면서 담백한 그런 질감의 고기였구요. 군만두도 항상 맛있죠 ㅎ 만족하게 먹고 왔습니다. !!

함께 방문한 지인분의 베스트라는 추천메뉴 다 먹어봤는데 맛있습니다ㅎㅎ 개인적으로 좋아하는 스타일의 탕수육이에요. 고수 못먹는데도 오향장육 맛있네요.

Came for a gathering. The location was a bit tricky to find so I wandered a bit. Food is tasty and clean. Staff are friendly too.

Asked for the tangsuyuk to be stir-fried with the sauce. The sauce is a bit sweet but it stays enjoyable till the end. Even stir-fried, the batter stays crispy throughout. They divided the bokkeumbap (fried rice) for us, and it was perfectly gosulgosul (fluffy and separated). After a long while, visited Seogung again — still lives up to its legendary reputation.

Seogung — the legendary old-school Chinese spot in Yeouido. Seems like that famous person visited again recently because it's even busier than usual 😭 Best move is coming with friends and sharing ohyang-jangnyuk and tangsuyuk, but since I was solo I settled for samseon-bokkeumbap and gun-mandu. Their egg soup is especially good — I easily refill two or three times. The bokkeumbap arrives crazy fast after sitting down — some might wonder if it's pre-cooked, but the massive portion and perfectly toasted rice shut that thought down as you dig in. Kind of like Japanese chahan with yaki-gyoza. It was dinner, tough time for solo dining, but they welcomed me warmly. Had a great meal — thanks! 😘 Check out the YouTube channel Suyeom Sonyeon too 🧔
