성균관 대성전은 공사 중입니다. 명륜당 뜰을 거닐어도 보고 거대한 둘레의 천연기념물 은행나무를 둘러보고 왔습니다.

이맘때의 공기는 아직 차갑지만, 봄의 기운이 서서히 번지는 시기입니다. 서울 종로에 자리한 성균관의 중심 공간인 명륜당은 화려한 단풍 대신 고요함으로 계절을 보여줍니다. 잎을 모두 떨군 은행나무는 화려함 대신 굵은 줄기와 가지의 선을 드러내며, 오히려 수백 년 세월의 무게를 더 또렷하게 느끼게 합니다. 지금의 명륜당 앞마당은 관광객의 북적임보다 차분한 산책에 어울립니다. 겨울을 지난 나무는 아직 황금빛은 아니지만, 곧 돋아날 새순을 준비하며 묵묵히 자리를 지키고 있습니다. #성균관 #명륜당 #은행나무 #성균관대
