We went to Gangnam and it's a great value for money, the food was super satisfying! We ordered salted pork, galbi, and a fried egg dish and devoured everything in sight 🤤

If you're feeling hungover, I'd recommend this place 🤪! The food was pretty good, but it's not like the flavor was super special or anything (it felt that way because of the hangover vibe) and they grilled it for us so we could eat comfortably. My only complaint is that there wasn't any outdoor seating because there wasn't any fire 🔥 outside... it would've been a bummer to finish eating early 😐! They should have added kimchi right away when the grill was lit, lol 😂 And btw, don't even get me started on the cold noodles 🤢 - no eggs! 🥚😂

ThreeHO Material Mountain Street Food! Salted stew is good. The meat was rich and tender. The sauce that comes with the grilled pork, specifically for dipping, is really spicy. It's also nice to have the palce serve a basic doenjang jjigae (fermented soybean paste stew) too. Don't miss out on the air rice!

The service is okay. There's a private room in the back and they have outdoor tables on the rear side that come with fried food, but there's no gas stove so you can't cook anything directly.

When I ordered the galbi, they threw in a huge bowl of doenjang jjigae for free, which was amazing. Even if you've eaten it all and want more, they'll still give you some. There's no photo of it on the menu, but I ordered the eggplant 4000 calories (I think that's right?) and it was great! I wanted to eat kimchi fried but it's Chinese so I skipped it. The sautéed garlic with radish and thyme salad was really good. There's a self-corner that makes it easy to take it with you, which is nice.

If you're looking for a good meat place in Gangpo-dong, you have to try Jun Soi. It's an authentic salted meat joint that stays true to its name and serves incredibly fresh meat. The thick, juicy samgyeopsal and bossam are perfectly seasoned, with a depth of flavor that can be detected even just by smelling the salt alone. The smoky aroma from the charcoal grill infuses a savory scent that really gets your appetite going. The exterior is crispy on the outside, while the inside is tender and filled with rich juices. Even the basic side dishes are spot-on, especially when combined with fresh kimchi and salad - it's truly a superior pairing. I left feeling like I'd won hands down over the place despite its humble atmosphere - if you want to experience real salted meat in Gangpo-dong, Jun Soi is 100% your go-to.

I always find this place when I crave galbi, or any other part of it, and it's a must-visit for me. The meat is so juicy, even the texture before it's grilled makes sense to eat right away. It's full of savory goodness in your mouth! The standard side dishes like doenjang jjigae are also super delicious, and the owner is so nice too - I always leave feeling happy. If you're in the area around Poisaegi Street in Gwangjin-gu, you might know it already, but if not, please visit it when you can!
