I had the roe stew, cold raw fish soup, and assorted sushi — all very satisfying. The fish is fresh across the board; it seems like they prepare it from live fish right there. The assorted sushi came with a few slices of sashimi on top, and the fish pieces were bigger than the rice, so it really felt like eating sashimi. The roe stew wasn't too spicy or heavy, which I liked. The exterior looks a bit dated, but the quality more than delivered. I'll definitely be back.

On a rainy, overcast day I was craving fish roe soup, so I stopped by Haerang after a long while. The broth was refreshingly clean and really settled my stomach. No grilled fish today, which was a bit of a shame, but I will look forward to it next time.
