I visited on a rainy day, and there were lots of cherry blossoms and it had a nice atmosphere. It's great for walking, and on days when the weather is nice, there's a place to bring a packed lunch and eat.

Spot in Gangnam area, Seoul.

Even though I visited at the end of the fall foliage season, it still had a colorful feel, so it was great to enjoy the fall atmosphere. There are especially many maple trees around the lake park, so the photos come out pretty. From the beginning of the park, large trees cover the well-maintained walking path like a roof, providing plenty of shade even in summer, and the dense greenery is impressive. The slope is gentle, so it is also good for a light walk or jogging course. If you are visiting by car, you can use the parking lot of Gwanaksan Eutteum Park or Gwanak Cultural Center, but it may be difficult to find an empty space on weekends. Parking is available on the Seoul National University campus, but the parking fee is somewhat expensive, and there is no direct passage from the campus to the park, so the route takes a long time.

November 28 Heavy snow, wet snow. Heavy snow warning on the 27th and consecutive days. It was the day when the first snow fell harshly. I wanted to go to Gwanaksan Mountain to rest my eyes, so I climbed from Gwanaksan Station towards Sammaksa Temple and Yeonjuam Temple, but there was no path in sight. Russell climbed up to the iron tower and returned to the starting point. Pine trees and other trees are bent and falling down, and roads are blocked. I trekked a path that reached up to my knees or thighs. I felt very sad about the fallen pine trees. At first sight, my first snow hike was in snow country! Another Mt. Gwanak showed off its appearance. I prepared well for winter and didn't have any inconveniences. Because the location of the hike was not accurate, it was titled “Gwanaksan Natural Park.” Crampons are a must in winter!

A park I visit occasionally. I wrote this briefly in the order in which the photos were uploaded! ① Entrance to Gwanaksan Natural Park ② Waterfall rest area located at the beginning of the trail ③ There is also a public restroom at the entrance to the main trail. ④ The point where the road to the campsite (left) and the existing trail (right) diverge. ⑤ There is a KB Securities clock tower and cute models at the entrance to the campsite! ⑥~⑦ Tables in the campsite and notices regarding the camping forest ⑧~⑨ A water park located a little further away (open on the day of visit) ⑩~⑫ Entrance to Gwanaksan Lake Park and panoramic view of the lake ⑬~⑭ Entrance to the accessible valley ⑮ If you go up the hiking trail, you can also play in the water in the valley located a little further upstream. ⑯~⑱ I also added a photo of the rest area at the entrance to the trail (Starlight Stream) ⑲~⑳ that I took on the way back and the night view!

It's been a while since I've been here, and it's well maintained. The trail was also nice. It's connected to the subway station, so transportation is good.

I went for an early Sunday morning walk to Gwanaksan Mountain Park, so there weren't many people there, but the weather was nice and good for hiking. In the cool autumn rain, I went up to the limit. I sweated a little, but it still felt good to wake up early on Sunday morning and exercise. For those of you who are going hiking, it would be good to note that it is right in front of you when you get off at Gwanaksan Station on the Sillim Line.
