The park where independence activist Dosan Ahn Chang-ho's grave and the memorial hall that records his footsteps are located. It's a forest path in the middle of a very busy area, so it's good for a quiet walk. Entry to the memorial is open at all times, so it's good to look around. I stop by for a quick rest and see people paying their respects at the grave, and I get a feeling of reverence. There's a writing contest on the topic of Ahn Chang-ho until the end of this month, so if you're good at writing, participate!

A park built to commemorate Dosan Ahn Chang-ho and his wife, Lee Hye-ryeon. There are two graves, a statue of Ahn Chang-ho, an Ahn Chang-ho memorial hall, and sheep. Why are there sheep?? Ah... Anyway, pets are allowed to enter. The area around here is very crowded, but the park is quiet. The elements are well decorated and there are many things to see at the memorial hall. There are many hot spots around, so it's good to take a walk and move around.

A park with the graves of independence activist Dosan Ahn Chang-ho and his wife Lee Hye-ryeon. You can see the history of the independence movement and traces of life here and there in the park. There is a memorial hall near the main gate, so you can learn about Ahn Chang-ho in depth. Not only that, but it is a neatly maintained park and it is the only quiet place in Apgujeong, which is always crowded, so it is good for a leisurely stroll.

I stopped by when I went to a nearby art museum when it was hot in August, but it was a small but very quiet and nice place. When I came back in September, the midday sun was moderately good and the wind was cool, so there were a lot of people exercising and walking their dogs, and kindergarten babies were out doing outdoor activities, so I thought it was finally fall. I have memories of walking and chatting with my husband a few decades ago while on a date in Apgujeong and Sinsa-dong.. My daughter, who works nearby, often goes for a walk after lunch. Today, I have a dinner date with my daughter, so I leisurely went to Starbucks Reserve Dosan branch before my daughter gets off work, and then went for a walk to Dosan Park. It is small in size, but there is a well-maintained walking path, the Dosan Ahn Chang-ho Memorial Hall, a graveyard, and a statue, and a photo exhibition of Ahn Chang-ho during his time in the U.S. is displayed throughout the park. I stopped by again to eat dinner and digest with my daughter, took a walk, worked out on the exercise equipment, and then came home.

It is a Seoul City Park located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu. Construction began in 1971 and opened on November 9, 1973, the 95th anniversary of the birth of Ahn Chang-ho. The name of the park was taken from Ahn Chang-ho's nickname, 'Dosan (島山),' and was meant to commemorate Ahn Chang-ho's patriotism and educational spirit. There is also a graveyard where the inside and outside are buried together. I happened to stop by today after hearing about Dosan Neighborhood Park and it is a park with such historical significance.

This is a park where Dosan Ahn Chang-ho and his wife are buried together. There are many exhibits in the park explaining the life story of Ahn Chang-ho. Also, there is Apgujeong Luxury Street nearby, so many people go for a walk during lunch time. If you visited here, Teacher Dosan would say, 'At least my next descendants will not have to live a life of persecution by other ethnic groups.' With this in mind, I would like to honor the passionate efforts for independence.

It's good to come with children, especially since next week's 8-15 is the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, so be sure to talk to the kids. If you just pass by, you'll forget about it right away. The park is suitable. There are restrooms, drinking fountains, chairs, and shade. There are a few bees, but you can just quietly pass by. Parents should definitely talk to the kids about where this is. 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇺 MY Place reviewer ranking TOP 300 ✅ Total number of review views: 6.1 million (2025-08-11-Mon) ✅ Naver reviewer name: Eat, walk and get plenty of sunlight 🛑 YouTuber 1: Eat food and get lots of sunlight 🛑 YouTuber 2: Get lots of sunlight while walking 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷 ♦️1) Eat food and get plenty of sunlight YouTuber ♦️Video topic: Introduction to restaurants and cafes ♦️2) YouTuber filled with sunlight while walking ♦️Video topic: Cityscape & Dullegil scenery
