Sayuksin Park is a park that commemorates six loyalists who were executed while opposing King Sejo's usurpation of the throne and seeking to reinstate King Danjong. It's not fancy, but the historical atmosphere and the tranquility of the Han River combine to make it a good place for a calm stroll. At the observatory, the tall buildings, the lights of the Han River Railroad Bridge, and the lights of passing trains harmonize subtly, creating an atmosphere of elegance. It is recommended to take a walk in the following order: Sayukshin Park → Hangang Ichon District Trail → Observation Point under the Hangang Railroad Bridge. Next time, I will have to visit during the day.
A place worth stopping by on your way home. The Sayukshin History Museum is a small exhibition hall that is good for people who do not know much about the Sayukshin. Honestly, if you studied Korean history diligently, it probably won't come across as very novel.

I stopped by this place out of curiosity while walking the trail from Heukseok Station to Nodeul Island, and it was a good thing I came. It's quiet, well-maintained, and perfect for a walk. Burning incense at a shrine is awesome! It was a sight to see the white and purple violets in full bloom at the shrine.

🌳 This is Sayukshin Park, a hidden attraction in Noryangjin that only those in the know know about. It's a great place to relax when the weather is nice. 🩷 On the way up, when I look at the sky, I see a tree growing in the shape of a heart 👨🎓 There is a shrine to the sky, a frequent question in Korean history 🎆 From the observatory, you can see everything from Namsan Tower to the 63 Building. It is an unexpected fireworks spot, so it is popular on the day. 💪 Take a breather and fight today!!! ➡️ Follow us and learn more about Noryangjin restaurants!

After my business trip, I went to Sayuksin Park in Noryangjin. It mainly consists of a shrine and a historical observatory. There are memorial tablets for the seven subjects who were killed by King Sejo while reinstating King Danjong after the Gyeyujeongnan. There is a tomb in the back, and it seems to be the tomb of a Sayukshin. The person who recovered it is Mr. Kim Si-seup of Maewoldang. The history museum is where you can learn about the situation during the reign of King Danjong of King Munjong in the early Joseon Dynasty. The observatory has a railroad bridge and the Han River in front. The view was nice

Sayukshin Park located in Noryangjin. As I climbed uphill to the entrance, the autumn leaves had not yet fallen, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the atmosphere of late fall. At the end of the street, on the right, you will see a red gate with Chinese characters written on it, and when you enter, you will find Uijeoulsa Temple, a space where the memorial tablets of the six gods are kept. It was a meaningful time to enjoy autumn in privacy as there was a shrine to the royal tomb and a walking trail in the back.

Saryuksin Park, set on a high hill between Hangang Bridge and Noryangjin Station, is a park created by turning the Saryuksin Tomb area into a sacred site. Saryuksin Tomb is the resting place of six loyal officials - Park Paeng-nyeon, Seong Sam-mun, Yi Gae, Ha Wi-ji, Yu Seong-won, and Yu Eung-bu - who lost their lives in 1456, the second year of King Sejo, while trying to restore the throne of King Danjong, the sixth king of Joseon. In 1455, the third year of Danjong, when Danjong was overthrown by his uncle Grand Prince Suyang, they were outraged and were eventually discovered while plotting his restoration, meeting a brutal end. To honor the loyalty and brave spirit of the Six Loyal Retainers, a seowon was built here in 1681, and a stele for them was erected in 1782. In 1955, a monument to the Six Loyal Retainers was also built, and later the tomb area was expanded and redeveloped to commemorate loyalty and filial piety.
