Friendly, great value, and generous portions. The side dishes are also quite solid, so you leave fully satisfied. It's one of my two favorite sushi spots in the neighborhood.

와이프와 아이 둘을 데리고 저녁 식사를 하러 갔습니다. 자리를 잡고 식사를 시작하는 순간에 옆테이블 손님들이 욕설이 섞인 대화가 계속 이어지고 있었습니다. 아직 아이들이라 손님들께 양해를 구하는건 아니다 싶어 조용히 직원 분께 상황을 얘기하고 자리를 옮겨도 되는지 여쭤봤지요. 직원 분 중 한분은 식사를 시작했으니 옮겨줄 수 없다고 옆테이블 손님들께 욕설섞인 대화를 하지말아달란 얘기를 한다고 하더군요. 자리 세팅도 힘든 부분인걸 알기에 빨리 먹고 나가야겠단 생각을 하는 순간 다른 일하시는 분이 자리를 옮겨주셨습니다. 감사하기도,죄송하기도 해서 직원분께 여러차례 죄송하다 했는데 한마디 대꾸를 안하더군요. 저도 사람인지라 기분이 상했고 앞으로는 안갈거같네요.

This large yellowtail is impressive. ^^ The owner cut it into big pieces, almost roughly, and gave us the tasty parts, so we ate really well.

They recommended adding fresh shrimp to the small flounder sashimi, so I tried it — the shrimp were beyond fresh, they were practically jumping ㅋㅋ The sea lettuce pancake (?) that comes with it was crispy yet moist and so good, and the shrimp tempura was excellent too! When I ordered the raw shrimp, they even grilled the heads for me! Super kind, and if this place were near my house it'd definitely be my regular. Also, the fish prep is really skillful — not even a hint of fishiness.

It's not easy to find fresh mackerel sashimi in the neighborhood haha, but this place is genuinely delicious. The side dishes that come with it are just right, and the staff is kind — makes it even better.
