광운대역 근처 월계동성당 길 건너 골목으로 올라가면 영축산 들머리가 나옵니다. 계단 있는 길과 계단이 없는 완만한 경사로길 중 골라서 올라가면 됩니다. 계단길로 10분이면 정상까지 충분히 올라갈 수 있습니다. 해발 100미터도 되지 않는 정상이지만 전망이 아예 없지는 않습니다. 불암산, 수락산과 중랑구 너머의 산들도 보입니다. 여기서 인덕대 쪽으로 하산했습니다. 낮은 산이라 운동화로도 충분히 등산할 수 있고 길이 좋습니다. 이 길 외에도 여러 갈래의 길이 있어 동네에서 많은 분들이 찾는 것 같습니다.
