The attitude of the part-time worker with glasses on the evening shift, along with the female staff member next to him, was really unpleasant. I hadn’t made any special request, but they kept looking at customers with obvious irritated expressions. I don’t know if they were having a personal issue, but that kind of mood shouldn’t be passed on to customers. It made me hesitate to come back.

Tomorrow is finally the Suneung (college entrance exam)... After shamelessly begging everyone about my daughter's exam, I finally got a gift card late at night. 10:20 PM. Of course! Paris Baguette is open till 11! Picked out some beautifully wrapped chapssaltteok (sticky rice cake). A parent's desperate wish for their child to stay calm and have no regrets... My parents must have felt the same way 30 years ago. Tears welling up...
