가락시장 다농마트에서 수육용 목전지 1kg를 구매해 냉제육으로 만들어 먹어봤는데 정말 만족스러웠습니다. 우선 고기 상태가 굉장히 신선해 보였고, 지방과 살코기 비율이 적당해서 수육용으로 딱 좋아 보였습니다. 가격도 대형마트 대비 합리적인 편이라 가락시장답게 가성비가 좋다는 느낌을 받았습니다. 집에 와서 월계수잎과 통후추를 넣고 푹 삶아낸 뒤 한 김 식혀 얇게 썰어 냉장 보관했다가 차갑게 먹는 냉제육으로 준비했는데, 목전지 특유의 촉촉함과 쫄깃한 식감이 정말 잘 살아 있었습니다. 너무 퍽퍽하지 않고 적당히 기름진 부위라 차갑게 먹어도 고소한 맛이 유지되어 더 맛있게 느껴졌습니다. 특히 얇게 썰어서 새우젓이나 쌈장에 찍어 먹으니 담백한 풍미가 훨씬 잘 살아났고, 상추나 깻잎에 마늘이랑 잘 어울렸습니다.
