을지로에 위치한 포장재, 비닐, 지류, 인쇄, 인테리어, 제과업 물품 관련등의 도매시장이다. 250여개의 점포가 있고 제빵 기기 등을 판매하는 베이커리 등 DIY 골목으로도 각광 받고있다. 》한자로 향기가 날 방과 뫼산 자를 써서 방산시장으로 이름 지어졌는데 조선시대 이지역은 유난히 악취가 심하여 역발상으로 붙여진 지명으로 알려져 있다.

캔들재료를 사러갈때 애용하는곳 인터넷으로 주문하면 좋지만 역시 시장이 좋다~ 멀지만 그래도 빨리 받고 서비스를 받을 수 있는 곳은 이곳만한곳이 없지요~ 광장시장도 좋지만 방산시장도 구경해보세요~^^
