✍️I went to Bongeunsa Temple after a long time to see the red plum blossoms🌸 The red plum blossoms are blooming beautifully as well as the magnolias and camellia flowers, so it's great for flower viewing🌸 In addition, Mireuk Square is full of pretty white lotuses🌸 I recommend taking a walk around Bongeunsa Temple and even having a cup of tea at the banquet tea garden🌸
It was absolutely beautiful and such a peaceful, healing experience. What stood out the most was the “Bong-Pass” program offered by the temple for international visitors—it included a tea ceremony, meditation, and a guided tour. It turned out to be such a special and unforgettable memory. If you’re visiting Seoul, I highly recommend bong-pass program.‼️✨

Bongeunsa Temple’s red plum blossoms create a serene atmosphere of spring even in the city. The vivid red flowers combined with the calm atmosphere of the temple made it even more impressive, and just staying there for a while made me feel at ease. It was a spring outing that was short but left a deep impression.

Every year around this time, I visit Bongeunsa Temple to feel the early spring🌸 It's close to my house and Samsil, so walk-in accessibility is good, and the parking lot is quite large, so you can visit by car on weekdays👍 There were quite a few foreign tourists, including parents and whole families with sons and daughters, couples holding hands and cuddling, people who came in groups wearing mountaineering clothes, people taking professional photos with cannon cameras, and people quietly strolling alone and enjoying spring. Up to the minute. Excitement and joy naturally come out on the faces of each person as they welcome spring in their own way and enjoy the red plum blossoms😊 This year, it is crowded as always, but the air is warm and really nice to welcome the spring flowers first at a quiet temple among the forest of buildings in the middle of Gangnam.🫰

They say it's spring, it's the threshold of spring, but the cold wind was harsh yesterday and today. Is it a show of presence at the end of winter that envies spring? Nevertheless, the plum trees on the grounds of Bongeunsa Temple burst into bright white and red flower buds. Isn’t this a firm declaration that spring has arrived and cannot be resisted? After passing Iljumun Gate, a placard was hung on the monument hill on the right, congratulating Choi Min-jung for ‘achieving a new record for the most medals.’ Bongeunsa Temple and believers congratulated the believer for his deep victory. In the front yard of Daeungjeon, colorful lotus lanterns sway in the wind, and the faces of people lighting wishing candles beneath them are filled with earnestness and hope. The flickering of the candle flame is as earnest as the scent of plum blossoms, as if it is melting away the cold winter. Even though the cold that makes us shiver still remains, our hearts are already in the midst of spring.

I heard about the red plum blossoms at Bongeunsa Temple and went to Bongeunsa Temple, determined to see them this year. I was worried that all the flowers would have faded, but thanks to the cold weather, they remained just as I saw in the photo last week. If the weather doesn't suddenly get hot, I think we'll be able to see plum blossoms next week. Instead of feeling sorry for being late (like I did last year... haha), I think it would be a good idea to just come and have a look around. Other flowers were being prepared one by one. I also went over to COEX right in front, took a good look around, drank some great coffee at a cozy coffee shop, and had a great time.

Bongeunsa Temple, a famous place for red plum blossoms. The red plum blossoms are in full bloom right now. As soon as you enter Bongeunsa Temple, you can see the plum tree next to Seondang Temple, so it is crowded with people. There is a big and pretty red plum tree at Yeonggak next to the walkway before going to Maitreya Buddha rather than towards Seondang Temple. It is prettier this time, so take a look. Even if it is not red plum blossom, it is full of lotus lanterns from the entrance, and it is good to go up to the Maitreya Buddha or the promenade and see the panoramic view of Samseong-dong.

I went to Bongeunsa Temple, a famous place in Seoul where you can see early spring flowers, especially the beautiful red plum blossoms. I am always amazed at how these beautiful flowers bloom every year, overcoming the cold of winter. 👍 You can see Mancheop red plum blossoms at the parking lot and Yeonggak at the entrance to Bongeunsa Temple, red plum blossoms, pink plum plum blossoms, and white plum blossoms in front of Maehwadang, and Neungsu (weeping plum blossoms) with drooping branches next to Nalmulgot (mineral spring). Even though we went early, there were many people who came to take pictures. The area in front of the plum blossoms is crowded with people, but the meditation path is quiet and good for a leisurely stroll. There are tables and chairs in the middle of the meditation path, so I enjoyed a free view cafe while drinking coffee and looking down at the red plum blossoms at Yeonggak below. 😄 I am grateful that Bongeunsa Temple is located in downtown Gangnam, Seoul, close to Bongeunsa Station on Line 9.

The sky seen from Daeheungsa Temple in Haenam Ttangkkeut Village and the red plum blossoms blooming in Gurye-gu are also blooming beautifully at Bongeunsa Temple. The red plum blossoms of Bongeunsa Temple, whose solemn and luxurious touch meets the calm sunlight, reach their peak and create an exquisite appearance! ㅡRight 130 meters from Exit 2 of Bongeunsa Station on Line 9 ㅡSeoul's beautiful red plum blossoms are good here as of March 20! ㅡThis is a place that foreign tourists always visit, and COEX is right in front! ㅡThere are 2 more types of flowers other than red plum blossoms, and there are 3 places to see red plum blossoms ㅡThe most beautiful red plum blossoms are next to the parking lot (next to the entrance to Bongeunsa Temple) ㅡFor the past two weeks, I have been to Damyang Juknokwon, Soswaewon, Masan Kwai River Bridge, Janggunam, Gurye-gu, Hwaeomsa Temple, Saseongham, Banyawon Plane Tree, Haenam Ttangkkeut Village, Sunset, and Daeheungsa Temple, so there is no need to go far. When you come to Bongeunsa Temple, you can fully enjoy the beauty of the red plum blossoms and the antique sky and scenery, which are worth the price!! It's great.

Bongeunsa Temple's red plum blossoms, which first announce the beginning of spring in downtown Seoul, are a spectacle not to be missed every year. Behind the quiet main hall, bright pink flowers bloom brilliantly, completing the aesthetics of a millennium-old temple. The white plum blossoms have already burst into flower buds. The scent of plum blossoms among the buildings provides a break from daily life, and it is considered the best photo shoot for photography enthusiasts. It's a perfect place to forget about the busy city center and enjoy the atmosphere of spring. Parking is always full so it's difficult. There is also a Janchi Noodles restaurant to the right of the entrance, so you can buy delicious noodles.
