I came to the Suraksan Mountain hiking trail and the scenery was really nice. Next time I come, I definitely want to climb to the top. I think it would be great to come in warm spring or fall when the leaves have fallen.

It says difficulty level, but it's not that difficult. If you walk quickly, you can walk in less than 2 hours. The route guidance is generally good, but at important intersections (especially in the latter half), the signs may not be visible.

With the goal of completing the 21 courses of Seoul Dullegil, I started from course 1! I got a stamp for Course 1 at Iris Garden in Seoul and walked while looking at the signs. Course 1 was said to be difficult, but it wasn't as difficult as I feared! I was wondering if the 2nd course mailbox would always come, but it came out after I heard that it was really difficult. It took 3 hours to arrive from Changpowon to Danggogae Station haha.

The quarry observatory that can be found in the Suraksan section of "Seoul Dulle-gil Course 1" is one of the highlights of this course, and its open view of downtown Seoul is attractive. On a clear day, you can even see the mountain ranges surrounding Seoul, and the wide-open rocky area and quarry site that resemble an old castle wall are impressive. Additionally, the course information is well marked, so you can complete the course without difficulty even without a map app. It is very convenient as the course is clearly indicated so that even first-time visitors do not have to feel confused at the crossroads. Caution is required in the quarry section as there are many rocks and slippery paths.

Unlike the Danggogae Park intersection on the Suraksan Dullegil trail to Dongmakgol Suraksan Station, this section is quiet as there are not many people. It's completely in the forest, and there are moderate ups and downs, so it's good for exercise. Starting from Danggogae Park, it only takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the entrance of Suraksan Dongmakgol Recreational Forest. 둘레길 중간 깨끗한 화장실 있고 당고개역(불암산역) 탈출 등산로 여러군데 있어 부담 없이 둘레길 걸을 수 있습니다 👍

Seoul Dullegil Course 1 Surak, Bulamsan Course A course that connects Suraksan Mountain and Bulamsan Mountain, where you can enjoy forest bathing and a beautiful view from the quarry site observatory. When you get out of Exit 2 of Dobongsan Station, you will see Seoul Iris Garden right across the street. There is a Dullegil stamp at the entrance. If you follow the road towards Surakgol and go up, you will come to an observatory. After passing the thousandth observatory with a good view of Dobongsan Mountain, you will come across a road going downhill again. If you go up the mountain road again and go around the road, you will come to a second observatory. Dobongsan Mountain is not visible, but you can now see the 2nd Lotte Tower and Namsan Tower in the distance. The third observatory is a quarry observatory built on the site of a former quarry, and as you can see in the photo, it offers a very refreshing view of Mt. Bulam. A trail course with outstanding scenery!

This course starts at Seoul Iris Garden next to Dobongsan Station and continues along the Suraksan Mountain trail to near Danggogae Station. The flat section is from Changpowon to Suraksan Mountain. After entering Suraksan Mountain, you walk on a path that goes up and down. The total length is 6.7km and takes about 2 hours. There are many orange signposts indicating the Seoul Trail, so there is little chance of confusion. The view from the quarry nearing the destination, Danggogae, is nice and the large rock is also nice.
