It's been a while since I visited to exercise on a cold weekend. It's quiet, so it's good for a light walk👍

The weather has cleared up so it's nice to go for a walk.

Boramae Park is a place where the spirit of the Air Force Academy, which dreamed of the sky, is reflected. Now, the 'Paldo Small Parks', which were carefully created with the cooperation of local governments across the country, are welcoming visitors with their different charms. The park began to get very busy as spring arrived. The neatly maintained gardens in each section are already busy with visitors, Boramae Park's famous musical fountain is undergoing water purification work to remove winter-old grime, and work is also being done to fill the lake. Perhaps it is being freshened for comprehensive facility inspection ahead of re-opening? As I watched the clear water filling the lake, I was excited about the spectacular fountain show that was about to begin. Above all, the opening of the Sillim Line has raised the value of Boramae Park to the next level. With the effect of bringing Line 2 and Line 7 just a short distance away, it has been reborn as a jewel of the southwestern region.

I went to Boramae Park. You can see people having picnics with their families, couples, and friends, and there are also people running. I feel this every time I come, but it makes me really happy to have such a great park nearby. Beautiful flowers and trees, and the right amount of wind, clouds, and sunlight are all good because they are not too much. Whatever your purpose, I hope you visit and experience it. I am full of feelings.

Boramae Park autumn has reached its end. I'm happy to be able to see the colorful autumn leaves, even if it's belated. Elderly people enjoying the warm sunlight, children running and screaming here and there, sunlight shining through the occasional fallen leaves blowing in the wind and dry tree branches. All of this comes together to create a more beautiful Boramae. Until 1985, this was the Air Force Academy. After relocating to Cheongju, it was turned into a park, and Boramae, the symbol of the Air Force, became the name of the park. It is said that when the park was built, the cadets worked hard, picking out gravel and shoveling. At the entrance to the park, there is Taeseongdae, the Air Force Apartment, and Seongmudae, the symbolic tower of the Air Force. Airplane and helicopter sculptures here and there are traces of history that make this park even more special! There are three subway stations nearby, so it's very accessible, and it has a different atmosphere at night than during the day. It was a happy walk.

I feel like my sense of life, which had become dull, becomes vivid. I think the temperature was around 1 degree or 0 degrees. It was a bit cold to just walk, and I hadn't run in a while, so I suddenly just ran - 10 km, 46 minutes and 20 seconds. The optimal pace for some exercise without overdoing it! It was really nice to run as it got cold and there weren't many people. If you dress appropriately warmly, wear gloves and thick socks, there will be no problem. After running, have a glass of warm honey water at CU! The colder it gets, the harder it becomes. If you are a runner, throw off the blanket and run. In the lake, ducks quack as if they are talking in their sleep, and the few remaining leaves sway lonely in the wind. It is winter now.

On a rainy Saturday morning, Boramae Park is like a child who has just finished washing his face in the morning. A good child with a bright smile and a clean face. No matter where I walk, the smell of grass fills my nose. People walking, running, chatting, and enjoying the park. The colors and outlines of trees and flowers, thoroughly washed by the overnight rain, are clearer than ever. On days like this, I take a walk, looking closely at each plant. A sense of leisure that is rarely felt on bright, clear days. This leisure feels clearer today. There is still a hint of summer in the air, but it will soon give way to a new owner, right? The boring heat wave is over and fall is here. I’m already looking forward to seeing the fall foliage at Boramae Park. It was a short but happy walk. My life is small, but the rest and comfort that the park provides is always like this mountain.

The day I visited Boramae Park on the last day of November was warm, so there were many people out for a walk. The water in the fountain has dried up and I can see the bottom. I saw fish when summer came, so I guess I'll have to wait until next spring. I'll walk around the park and take pictures. It's December tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing Boramae Park when it snows soon.

This is the favorite picnic spot for my father, a retired soldier, and my foreign husband-to-be. I spent a heart-warming time watching him teach various things to his future husband, who was around my father's age, after he was a young soldier and is now well over 60 years old. There is a small lake, so the scenery is beautiful, and there are also trails that are great for taking your dog for a walk. If you come to Dongjak-gu, this is a place I definitely recommend you visit.

Boramae Park, which I visited at the end of the International Garden Expo, was larger than I expected and had more things to see, so I was able to spend time leisurely. In places where there is a lot of sunlight, there are also a lot of autumn leaves, so it feels like I went on an early autumn foliage trip. Every hour on the hour, a fountain comes out of the lake to music, providing something to see. Everyone was enjoying the autumn atmosphere around the lake, taking pictures or listening to music. As you walk along the promenade, you will see themed spaces that combine garden styles from various countries, making you feel like you are traveling a small world. Boramae Park seems to show different charms as the seasons change. It is a place I want to visit again next time the spring flowers are in full bloom.
