잠원 떡볶이에 다녀왔어요. 노포 맛집으로 유명한데, 추억의 옛날 떡볶이 맛을 느낄 수 있었어요. 자극적이지 않고, 달콤한 떡볶이와 튀김이 맛있었어요. 장소가 아담해서 바쁜 시간에는 포장하면 좋겠더라구요.

추억의 달달한 떡복이를 파는 곳이에요. 달달한 국물이 낭낭해서 튀김도 순대도 찍어먹으면 맛있어요! 떡은 밀떡인데 어묵을 가득 주십니다 ㅎㅎ

사무실에 포장해서 먹었어요. 떡볶이는 밀떡이며 통통해요. 밀떡이라 쫄깃쫄깃하구요 튀김은 좀 아쉽네요. 순대는 일찍이라 그런지 덜 삶아져서 다음번엔 좀 늦게 가야 겠어요. 꼬마김밥도 맛있었고 밀떡볶이는 인정합니다!!

맵지 않고 맛있어요

옛 생각이 나는 떡볶이입니다. 인스턴트, 대기업 떡볶이에 지친 혀가 잠시 쉬고 갈수있는 맛입니다. 집값이 비싼 동네라 그런지 가성비가 좋지 않네요

20년 다니던 가게입니다. 오랜만에 아이와 갔는데 여전히 맛있네요. 하정우 떡볶이가게로 유명한 곳이죠.

Right in the middle of Banpo, this old-school tteokbokki shop was packed with customers and cars. The gukmul tteokbokki (soupy tteokbokki) with mil-tteok (wheat rice cakes) goes perfectly with twigim (fritters) or sundae (blood sausage) and gimbap. The chewy rice cakes soak up the sweet and spicy broth nicely. The twigim isn't crispy since it's re-fried style, but the goguma (sweet potato) and squid are decent. If you order the assorted twigim platter, you get bland ones like gimbap twigim and cheese sticks, so just order goguma, ham, and squid separately. The odeng (fish cake) broth is refreshing and sweet but the fish cakes and mini gimbap aren't great. Prices are a bit high and the owner runs it solo so it gets busy. Overall ★★

Finally visited Jamwon Tteokbokki — been wanting to go forever. There's a Naver 2024 Tteokjisunrye (tteokbokki pilgrimage) sticker at the entrance. Street parking out front seems tough so I parked at Hanshin Building parking lot and walked — a bit far though. Weekday lunch so not too crowded but people kept streaming in, including a group of 5 right before me. I ordered 1 serving of tteokbokki and 1 assorted twigim (fried stuff). They re-fry the twigim and top it on the tteokbokki. The sauce isn't just gochugaru — seems like gochujang is mixed in too. Not too sweet, just right. The tteok seems to be flat mill-tteok. The sausage twigim was unique and they even have mini gimbap twigim. So good I finished everything and got another serving to-go plus extra mini gimbap. Asked some questions and they answered so kindly — turns out this place has been around for 40 years!!
