This is a restaurant I often go to right in front of my house!! The basic snacks are very generous and the owner and part-time workers are all friendly. The menu also offers a variety of choices, and even most of the side dishes are delicious. Highly recommended!!

This is a proper Daegu-style makchang restaurant. Go here for Wangsimni makchang restaurant!! I had a plate of makchang + pork neck, and the pork neck was so soft and delicious. I love that they give you everything for free, including steamed egg, ramen, and red bean shaved ice🫶🏻💕

I don't eat meat without steamed eggs, but here, the standard steamed egg is unlimited, so I'm always very happy. Also, the staff and the owner are friendly, so I feel good. I always eat meat here when I come to Wangsimni. I had a good meal today as well❤️

I came here because my friends said it was so delicious, and I'm really falling in love with it haha. Not a single piece of makchang is tough, it's really savory, and the pork belly is really delicious! There was unlimited ramen, but the main product was so delicious that I couldn't refill it. The red bean shaved ice was really refreshing. I really enjoyed it~~

My husband and I went to the Bongja Makchang Seoul Wangsimni branch in Wangsimni, which is perfect when you're craving makchang~~!! The store is very clean and comfortable, so I think people who don't feel comfortable with the old-fashioned feel will like it. Two people ate a plate of raw makchang and seasoned makchang, and it was chewy without any unpleasant smell;;👍👍 The seasoning is full of fire, so it's a delicacy that you won't get tired of at all. As a service, you get unlimited refills of ramen, steamed egg, and red bean shaved ice, so it's good value for the money. I even finished making my own fried rice💛

Bongja Makchang!!! I came here because I heard it was delicious~~~ The meat is delicious, but the makchang!!!! Makchang is really delicious~ It’s chewy and crispy when grilled, and it’s delicious when you eat it! There is no odor at all!!! The unlimited refills of soybean paste ramen, steamed egg, and red bean shaved ice are also the best!!!

The owner was so kind and made me feel happy from the moment I received my food. I was grateful that he took care of me like a mother, so the food was delicious and overall it was clean and nice. Thank you!

Makchang legendary restaurant!!! No, it's so chewy and savory and just so delicious😍😍 There are so many side dishes, and the bracken is a godsend!! There is unlimited refill of soybean paste ramen and it is really delicious (tastes like drinking alcohol🤍) and the owner is so kind that I definitely want to come again!! If you want to eat makchang, don’t hesitate and go to ‘Bongja Makchang Seoul Wangsimni Branch’!!!😆

I ate the one plate + half plate set and it was very cost-effective☺️ The makchang was chewy and delicious, and eating the pork belly with grilled kimchi was fantastic! They offer unlimited refills of steamed egg custard and red bean shaved ice, so I think this is the only place where you can get this kind of food at this cost-effective price. Be sure to try it🥰
