10월 7일 더현대 포터 매장을 방문했습니다. 근처 종업원(눈이 작은 남성 직원)에게 유사하게 생긴 두 제품의 소재 특성이 어떻게 다른지 설명을 부탁드렸는데, '제품이 다르니 소재도 다르겠죠...'라고 퉁명스럽게 말씀하시더군요. 그리고 정확히 기억이 안나서 가격을 두 번 정도 여쭤보았는데, 한 숨 섞인 목소리로 'xx원입니다. 방금 말씀드렸는데...'라는 불친절한 답변을 받았습니다. 장인정신을 바탕으로 최고의 고객 만족을 추구하는 포터의 고유한 가치가 일부 종업원의 불친절한 응대로 인해 훼손되는 모습을 직접 경험하니 매우 안타까운 마음이 들었습니다. 공익적인 목적에서 이 글을 남기며, 종업원들에 대한 재교육을 통해 다음 방문 시에는 보다 나은 응대를 기대하겠습니다.
