신계역사공원내 당고개순교성지 다녀왔습니다. 병오박해때 최초의 조선인 사제 김대건 신부가 새남터로 향한 참수 길에 잠시 쉬어갔던 곳이기도 합니다. 당고개는 기해박해때 10명의 교우들이 순교했던 곳입니다. '찔레꽃 아픔과 매화꽃 향기 가득 찬 어머니 성지'로 새롭게 단장되었답니다.
