Went out to Apgujeong Rodeo for once and we decided to get samgyeopsal at Kal-samgyeopsal. Got in right at opening with no wait~ The insane heat sears it instantly so it's bursting with juices — textbook crispy outside, juicy inside hehe. Dipping it in kongaru (soybean powder) was so nutty and delicious~~~ ♡ Grilled well-aged kimchi with meat was pure art!! At the end of the day, samgyeopsal wrapped in ssam with grilled kimchi and ssamjang is the way to go~ This combo is gospel haha. Kimchi-jjigae was great too, and the soft gyeran-jjim was amazing. First time in a while having proper samgyeopsal. Kal-samgyeopsal is a STRONG recommendation!!!!!!!!
